Lowcostholidays named Ireland’s best OTA

Lowcostholidays.ie has been named as the ‘Best Online Travel Agent’ by the Irish travel media at a gala event in Dublin.
The awards, which were held at the Shelbourne Hotel, organised by TravelMedia.ie and sponsored by Blue Insurances, gathered more than 170 members of the Irish travel trade and media. The awards were independently audited and managed by the Department of Tourism at the Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT).

Being voted Best Online Travel Agent in Ireland really is a marvellous endorsement of our brand and will undoubtedly encourage us to continue to develop and improve the great holiday value and flexibility that consumers currently enjoy on lowcostholidays.ie,” said Clem Walshe, Irish managing director of lowcostholidays.
The company, which forms part of the lowcosttravelgroup, first launched in Ireland in December 2010 and since then grown to become one of the most searched online holiday terms in Ireland. The company carried more than 100,000 passengers in 2013.
