The Saudi Arabia sector is turning out to be the largest schedule for Lufthansa with a total of 24 weekly departures. The airline in a recent development has increased its services between Dammam and Frankfurt to a daily flight. Additionally, Lufthansa flies daily between Jeddah and Frankfurt, daily between Riyadh and Frankfurt and three times weekly between Riyadh and Munich.
“Our flights to Frankfurt, as well as Munich, are well received and our guests know that Lufthansa offers more connections to Europe, North America and beyond than any other carrier. We are more than content with this performance in times of a tough economic situation surrounding the aviation sector,” said Carsten Spohr, CEO Lufthansa German Airlines.
“The Group is on a fleet expansion and another 295 airplanes are on order, valued at more than 36 billion Euros at list prices and scheduled for delivery until 2025,” added Spohr.
