Lufthansa’s seventh A380 enters service

Lufthansa has taken delivery of its seventh Airbus A380 aircraft. The new double-decker plane yesterday started operating daily services between Frankfurt and San Francisco. The German national carrier’s A380 offers 526 seats – eight in First Class, 98 in Business Class and 420 in Economy Class.
Lufthansa now operates the A380 to Johannesburg, New York, Beijing, Tokyo and San
Francisco. The airline has ordered 15 superjumbos and expects to take delivery of its eighth aircraft next month. Another two A380s will be delivered in 2012.
