Macau International Airport (MIA) saw continued declines in passenger and aircraft movements in the first quarter of 2009, according to a Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation report.
MIA handled 1,027,847 passengers during the three-month period, representing a decline of 22.8% year-on-year. Aircraft movements declined 23.5% to 10,471.
During March MIA had 3,636 aircraft movements transporting 387,769 passengers, representing decreases of 21% and 17% respectively.
