Macau recorded almost 25 million visitor arrivals last year - an increase of 15% compared to 2009, the Macao Government Tourist Office (MGTO) said on Wednesday. Visitor numbers hit 24.97 million last year, driven by continued growth from mainland China and Hong Kong, which remained the gaming hub’s top source markets. The most significant increases however, were seen in arrivals from India (+57%) and Russia (+49%).
