The Macau Government Tourist Office (MGTO) is taking to the big screen this month to lure Australians to the Asian gaming city. In its latest advertising campaign, the MGTO will screen a 30-second promotional clip to be shown in leading cinemas throughout Sydney. The ads will run until the end of June.
“We are confident this campaign will bring much awareness to Macau, therefore encouraging travel to a culturally fascinating old-meets-new, east-meets-west corner of Asia,” said Helen Wong, Managing Director of the MGTO in Australia and New Zealand. “Our advertisement – “To See the Difference, Experience Macau” – will be shown on almost 60 cinema screens split between venues,” she added.
Among the cinemas to showcase Macau this month are the Event Cinemas in George Street (City), Bondi Junction, Campbelltown, Castle Hill, Macquarie, Parramatta and Top Ryde along with Cremorne Hayden Orpheum, Broadway Hoyts, Hoyts Entertainment Quarter (Moore Park), Warringah Mall Hoys and Miranda Greater Union.
