Macau package tourists rise 5%

Package tour visitor arrivals to Macau rose 5.3% in November 2009, according to the figures released by the city’s Statistics and Census Service (DSEC). Reported by Xinhua, the figures showed that 496,726 package tourists arrived in Macau during the month, with 365,788 of those deriving from the Chinese mainland. Cumulative figures for the first 11 months of 2009 showed package tourists declining 5.4% year-on-year to 4.2 million.
