Macau sees more visitors

Macau saw 2,430,414 visitor arrivals last month, more than a fifth compared to the same month last year.
The majority of visitors came from Mainland China (56.3% of the total), Hong Kong (28.5%) and Taiwan (up 5.0%). The Statistics and Census Service said the National Day holidays boosted arrivals from Mainland China by almost 30%.
In the first ten months of 2007, visitor arrivals reached almost 22 million, a fifth more than last year for the same period.
