Macau sees record arrivals

Macau registered a record of almost 27 million visitor arrivals last year, up 23% from the previous year. Visitors from Mainland China and Hong Kong accounted for 55% and 30% of the total respectively.
The opening of three new hotels last year increased capacity to 16,148. The Statistics and Census Service said occupancies were 77% and guests stayed an average of 1.36 nights.
