Macquarie Airports (MAp) has reported an 87% increase in annual profits. Bernama reported that the company, which owns stakes in Sydney and Tokyo Haneda airports among others, posted net profit for fiscal 2008 of AU$2.07 billion (US$1.3 billion), compared with AU$1.1 billion in fiscal 2007.
The result was driven by the partial sale of Macquarie Airports’ stakes in Copenhagen and Brussels airports, the company was reported saying.
