Mahan Air expands Asian services

Mahan Air will launch twice weekly scheduled flights between Shanghai (Pudong Airport) and Tehran on 2 September.Mahan launched direct flights from the city of Mashhad to Kuala Lumpur in early July, which was followed by additional services between Tehran and Phuket, Thailand on 22 August. In another development, Mahan Air will introduce two additional weekly flights between Bangkok and Tehran on 6 October to take the total weekly frequencies on this route to nine. This is in response to ever increasing demand to travel between Iran and Thailand. All additional flights to Thailand will serviced using the airline’s A300-600 aircraft equipped with 245 seats.
