Makemytrip.com launches new Bhutan packages

Bhutan is seeking to increase tourist inflow from India through newly-introduced charter flight packages from Delhi and Mumbai. The packages have been designed by makemytip.com who will run the tours in June and July.
“We are collaborating with the Bhutan government for this. These packages which will be for seven days and will include stays in deluxe hotels, sightseeing and food. The cost will be cheaper than normal reservation,” Mohit Gupta of makemytrip.com told IANS. From Delhi, the package will cost INR33,999 and from Mumbai it will cost INR39,999.Bhutan’s ambassador here Vetsop Namgyel said; “Tourism is an important sector for us and we want it to grow. It’s the second highest income generating sector. We see opportunity of getting high-end tourism from India.”
