Malaysia’s new Tourism Minister

Malaysia has a new Tourism Minister in Azalina Othman Said. She replaces Tengku Adnan Mansor who was dropped from the Cabinet lineup announced by the Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. Sulaiman Abdul Rahman Abu Taib was named Deputy Tourism Minister. Azalina was formerly the Youth and Sports Minister and was recently awarded the World “Women and Sport” trophy by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in conjunction with International Women’s Day.
