Having been bitten by a snake, a man in Chongqing decided to make a phone call to his son instead of getting to a doctor. What’s more, it turned out to be a good move.
Xinhua reported that Jiang Renhui made a frantic phone call to his son, saying a snake had bitten him on his foot. “It would have taken me 30 minutes to reach my father. So I instructed him on what to do in order to stop the venom from spreading,” the son, Jiang Liwen, said. Mr Jiang senior is now in a stable condition at a hospital.
