Manathai Hotels & Resorts, the new and fast-expanding Thai hotel group, has unveiled details of its first property in Phuket.
Set to launch on 1 November 2015, the new Manathai Surin Phuket will be a 66-room boutique resort located at Surin Beach, on the island’s west coast.
The resort will focus on Thai-style design, using materials including rattan, wood, local silks and terracotta flooring. There will also be outdoor lotus ponds set around the resort’s swimming pool and pool bar area.
Other facilities at the Manathai Surin will include the brand’s signature Phad Thai restaurant concept, which will also offer Thai cooking classes.
“We have moved ahead with purpose and remained true to our objectives of opening four resorts in 12 months, all in high quality beachfront locations and offering a uniqueness by embracing Thai culture and values,” said Manathai’s chief operations officer, Christoph Berger.
“Manathai Surin Phuket complements our vision perfectly, especially in the elegance of its design that presents a refined and contemporary interpretation of traditional Thai styles and service concepts, establishing a true sense of place for guests, and a quality and cultured experience.”
Manathai Surin Phuket will become the company’s fourth property in Thailand, following recent openings in Hua Hin, Khao Lak and Koh Samui.
