Philippine Airlines (PAL) has advised passengers travelling on flights from Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to arrive at the airport earlier than usual tomorrow (Friday 16 September), due to expected industrial action. The PAL Employees Association (PALEA), which has been in conflict with the national carrier in recent months, is expected to conduct mass action within the vicinity of the NAIA on Friday, as it marks its anniversary. Heavy traffic is expected along the roads leading to the airport.
