Marco Polo Hotels has launched Piccolo, a new kids’ club concept it says is designed to make children feel part of the hotel experience.
Under the new scheme, children will be included in the activities usually undertaken by their parents. Several hotels will have a separate check-in counter, along with specially designed room keys and registration cards for kids.
And once in the room, children will be offered their own bathrobes and slippers, bathroom amenities, toys and a dental set.
Hotels’ F&B outlets will also include a special kids’ menu with organic and healthy-eating options, and all hotels will offer babysitting services and supervised play areas.
“As part of the ever-changing hospitality industry, we understand that each guest, no matter the age, should receive the best personalised experience at our properties, and that includes the boys and girls who will be our new guests,” said Eric Waldburger, president of Marco Polo Hotels.
