Emaar MGF, one of India’s leading real estate developers, has partnered with Marriott International Inc. to develop JW Marriott Hotels in New Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and a Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Amritsar.
These investments total over US$400 million and likely to be completed by end 2010.
The 300-room JW Marriott Delhi, Jasola, will be located in Jasola – Delhi’s fast emerging commercial hub.
Marriott said the property would help ease the crunch on hotel rooms in the capital city which is equipping itself to host the Commonwealth Games in 2010.
The 250-room JW Marriott Hyderabad will come up at HITEC City as a part of Emaar MGF’s sprawling 531-acre integrated township. It will be surrounded by some of the biggest IT companies of India.
The 250-room JW Marriott Kolkata will be located on The EM Bypass that has emerged as one of the most preferred destinations for industry, developing business districts, residential units and shopping malls.
The 112-room Courtyard by Marriott Amritsar will be the first business hotel in the city and constructed along with a mall and a multiplex.
