LONDON, December 3, 2009 — The London Marriott Hotel Twickenham recently unveiled six luxury suites with a bird’s eye view of the hallowed turf at Twickenham Stadium, the home of England Rugby. Those following their teams from Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, South Africa, France, Italy and Ireland to London will find the London Marriott Hotel Twickenham the ideal place to stay.
The beautifully appointed suites, named after six Grand Slam-winning England captains, include a private dining/seating area, plus separate bedroom, both with views of the pitch. Each suite has access to a private seating area within Twickenham’s South Stand.
The new London Marriott Hotel Twickenham opened in spring 2009, incorporating the latest innovations of Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International’s performance-driven brand. Bedrooms in the suites feature a King Size bed, dressed with Marriott’s signature luxury bedding package, including 300-thread-count sheets made from Egyptian cotton, down comforters and thicker mattresses. There is also a luxury bathroom and separate cloakroom. The contemporary design for the suites includes subtle details in carpets and artwork paying tribute to the hotel’s rugby heritage.
Other key features include flat screen satellite TV, in-room safe, individual mini bar, iron and ironing board and coffee and tea making facilities, plus dedicated work area with flexible work desk and high speed internet access. Guests can also access the 24 hour room service menu.
