MAS to add fifth daily service to BKK
Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is set to increase flight frequency between Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.
From 28 October, a fifth daily flight MH796 will depart the Malaysian capital at 21.55 hours arriving in Bangkok at 23.00 hours. The return flight MH797 will return from the Thai capital the following day, departing at 06.20 hours to arrive Kuala Lumpur at 09.30 hours.
This flight will be operated using a 160-seater B737-800 aircraft comprising 16 seats in Business Class and 144 in Economy Class.
With the introduction of the new service, MAS will offer a total weekly capacity of 5,568 seats in each direction, a 25% increase from the current capacity of 4,448 seats.
