Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is planning to rebrand its tour operator business.
From 1 January 2014, the existing MASholidays unit will be renamed ‘Golden Holidays’, with a new brand logo and colour scheme, plus what MAS called a “refreshed business model”.
“Golden Holidays will have a new look and feel, injecting expression, colour and vibrancy into the core essence of the holiday business,” the company said in a statement, adding that its main goal is to provide “quality, reliable and competitive holiday packages”.
The new logo features a series of colourful circles alongside the Golden Holidays name, while retaining the MAS branding with the suffix ‘by Malaysia Airlines’.
The company will now introduce a range of new products, including leisure packages, stopovers for business travellers, and religious group tours focusing on the Islamic pilgrimage market.
Golden Holidays tours will be made available for booking through the malaysiaairlines.com website, as well as MAS offices and travel agents.
