The Meetings Show UK has announced an Association Conference will take place before its inaugural event next year.
Its conference will take place on 8 July 2013 in the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, a day before the exhibition is held at Olympia between 9-13 July. Topics will include the issues and challenges faced by associations when holding events and comes after a recent survey found attendance was down for international events (see TDUK 20/08/12).
“Associations are experiencing enormous changes in competition for members and pressure on revenues which emphasises the need for their events to be as effective and innovative as possible,” said Sally Greenhill, managing director at The Right Solution. “The Meetings Show UK is providing a platform for both UK and international associations to discuss all the latest issues and trends, to learn from experts and their peers, at a special day totally geared to their needs.”
