Melia has revealed plans to launch a new luxury hotel in Ho Tram, the fast-developing beach resort in southeast Vietnam.
Scheduled to open in the second half of 2018, Melia Ho Tram will be located within The Hamptons Ho Tram – a high-end residential development approximately 95km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, and along the same beach as the Grand Casino and the Bluffs golf course. It will feature a 156 hotel suites and 98 villas.
“The expansion of our Vietnam portfolio in one of the most dynamic regions in the world is a strong indication our growth strategy is paying off,” said Bernardo Cabot Estarellas, Melia’s senior vice president for Asia Pacific.
“Our company has an impeccable track record and has been an established leader in the resort segment for decades; coupled with our extensive hotel management expertise, we’ve always been the top pick for demanding hotel owners.
“Today we… are excited to offer travellers to the Asia Pacific region an unparalleled luxury resort and beachfront living experience,” he added.
Melia Ho Tram becomes the Spanish hotel group’s fourth property in Vietnam, following the Melia Hanoi, Melia Danang and soon-to-be-launched Sol Beach House Phu Quoc. Across Asia Pacific, the company now operates 11 hotels with a further 23 hotels in the pipeline, and is planning to double its regional portfolio by 2020.
