Mercure Hotels has now opened the doors of its latest London property, Mercure London Hyde Park.
Tastefully converted, the impressive 4-star Grade II listed building is located in the London hotspot between Paddington and Lancaster Gate. Overlooking a peaceful garden, the hotel is just moments away from the beautiful green open space of iconic Hyde Park and the renowned shopping destinations of Knightsbridge and the West End.
Located at 8 – 14 Talbot Square, the hotel features a charming, classic English townhouse frontage which offers a uniquely British feel.
Guests can stay in one of the 72 rooms or three suites, many of which overlook a delightful, quiet garden square – with the penthouse suite afforded a private balcony. All rooms feature a calming and contemporary design. Luxurious bathrooms offer spa showers and toiletries, and suites include fluffy robes and slippers.
For guests looking to keep fit during their stay, a well-equipped gym featuring a wide range of cardio machines and free weights is available. Further amenities include a contemporary bar serving fine wines, beers and spirits as well as soft drinks and light bar snacks until 11pm. Breakfast is served daily in the hotels’ well-appointed restaurant.
With high-speed WiFi available throughout the property, visitors can keep connected during their stay, while fax and printing services are offered by the reception team.
Inge van Ooteghem, senior vice president for Upscale and Midscale brands at AccorHotels UK and Ireland said: “This is an exciting addition to Mercure‘s London portfolio, and it’s location alone will make it a very popular destination for international and domestic guests alike. The traditional British look and feel of the Mercure London Hyde Park is perfectly complemented by the contemporary interior design and we’re confident guests will have a truly wonderful stay here in London.”
