Meritus launches FFP deal with Chinese carriers

Singapore, 24 September 2009 - Meritus Hotels & Resorts, a leading Asian hospitality brand, has signed preferred frequent flyer partnership agreements with Air China and China Eastern. PhoenixMiles and Eastern Miles members will earn 800km per stay when staying at any of the six Meritus properties in Singapore, Malaysia and China - Meritus Mandarin Singapore, Marina Mandarin Singapore, Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa Langkawi, Shanghai JC Mandarin, Meritus Mandarin Haikou and Meritus Shantou China. To launch the partnership, Meritus Hotels & Resorts is extending to PhoenixMiles and Eastern Miles members double miles redemption points from now to 31 December 2009.

“We are confident that the addition of Air China and China Eastern will help further promote the Meritus brand across the region, and more importantly, give PhoenixMiles and Eastern Miles members an even better reason to stay with us,” he added.
Air China, the only airline company which carries the national flag, currently operates 67 international routes, 7 regional routes and 182 domestic routes, while China Eastern’s network spans across a combined total of 110 cities, including 53 famous international cities over the five continents of Asia, Europe, America and Africa.
Terms & Conditions:
Members have to book at a qualifying room rate to accumulate miles for
redemption.
Miles are awarded on a one room per stay basis, regardless of the number of rooms and nights booked.
Members must present their membership card upon check-in.
Only the registered guest can receive mileage for the stay.
