Millions of Indonesians to travel after religious holiday

Indonesian Transportation Minister, Jusman Syafei Djamal, has said that up to 26 million people in the country would be travelling for the post-Islamic holiday of Idul Fitr that falls on 1 October.
“The number of travellers using public transportation means or private cars are predicted to increase this year,” the Minister was quoted saying in an Antara news report.
“The number of people who would travel by land is predicted to reach nine million while million others would travel by sea or air,” he was quoted saying.
