Minor Hotels (MH) has announced the expansion of its AVANI brand in the Northeastern city of Khon Kaen in Thailand.
Currently operating as Centara Hotel & Convention Centre Khon Kaen the property was rebranded to AVANI Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre on July 1, 2016.
The AVANI Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre marks the latest addition to AVANI’s growing list of hotels bringing the portfolio to 16 properties across 11 countries.
Situated in the heart of Khon Kaen, Thailand, AVANI Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre features 196 guest rooms, with the five room types available.
Aa large outdoor pool, a fitness centre and AVANISPA, and numerous restaurants are available. 4,000 square metres of dedicated space are equipped with the latest in audio visual technology
Guests can visit the nearby Dino Park, the largest water slides in Southeast Asia; further explore dinosaur fossils at Phu Wiang Dinosaur Museum; and Khon Kaen’s major shopping centre close by.
Flights to Khon Kaen Airport are available from Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Transfer from the airport to the hotel takes 15 minutes and the whole city is easily accessible.
