Modest JAL President gains YouTube fame

Haruka Nishimatsu, President & CEO of Japan Air Lines (JAL), has gained a following after a CNN report showing him commuting by public transportation and eating with employees at the company’s cafeteria was posted on YouTube, Japan Today reported.
“We have been receiving emails and phone calls from in Japan and overseas. Some of them are from people showing their respect for Nishimatsu, while others say he is a role model for CEOs,” a JAL spokesperson was quoted saying.
