Japanese airline ANA has reported problems with its fire extinguishers on three of its new Dreamliner aircraft.
The carrier, which operates the biggest fleet of Boeing’s troubled 787 jet, found electrical wiring problems during pre-flight maintenance at Tokyo airport.
After reporting the fault, Japan’s national carrier Japan Airlines turned back a 787 en route to Helsinki in order to check its systems, the Evening Standard reported.
The Dreamliners problems have been widely documented of late, with an Ethiopian Airlines flight reporting a fire in Heathrow last month following on from the entire global fleet being grounded following problems with the battery.
