More Korean Air flights to China

KoreanAir, the nation’s largest air carrier, said it will operate flights to twoChinese cities — Xian and Mudanjiang– starting this month, reports the Korean Herald.
The air carrier will startoperating flights May 27 between Incheon and Xian in Shaanxiprovince, central China,every day of the week except Thursdays and Sundays.
The Incheon-Mudanjiangroute will be open three times a week, starting June 2, it added.
Mudanjiang, located near the borderbetween China and North Korea, is also about 160 kilometers awayfrom the Russian city of Vladivostok.
“The Mudanjiangroute will offer convenient flight services to two million ethnic Koreansliving in cities near Heilongjiangprovince,” an executive of the air carrier said.
With the two new routes,Korean Air will be operating flights to a total of 30 destinations in China, headded.
