More seats for Bali-Singapore

The Indonesian government plans to add 350,000 seats each year on the air segment between Singapore and Bali to meet growing demand.
According to Bali Update (balidiscovery.com), quoting Tempo Interaktif, the Singapore-Bali segment would be served seven times daily from the current four.
Singapore Airlines now operates three times daily and Garuda Indonesia serves once daily. Valuair operates four weekly direct flights between the two cities.
Quoting Indonesia’s Minister of Culture and Tourism Jero Wacik, the report said, if the expansion goes ahead, passenger seats on SIA and Garuda combined will double from 350,000 to 700,000.
