MSC Cruises has announced three new family orientated features which it believes will develop its offering and maintain its reputation as a family friendly cruise line.
The first idea – MSC Happy Dinners – is to sit children with their own kids’ menu – and, after they’ve finished, have them collected by special staff and taken to the kids’ club to play with friends. And their parents left to enjoy the meal.
The second – MSC Fun Time Dinners – sees children given their own dining room with specially prepared kids’ buffet. Three of these events are also themed – the welcome party, Italian party and farewell party. Parents can pick their children up when they’ve finished eating.
The third scheme is a late afternoon nanny-hour – which MSC has added to its current 9-10am hour. Timed from 5-6pm, parents and babies from 10 to 36 months will be able to take part in an organised programme including baby disco, musical games, puzzles and drawing.
