Mumbai airport’s new taxiways take shape

Five of the 11 taxiways planned for the Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport have now been built, the Times of India has reported. The five new taxiways include two rapid exit taxiways, while a ‘Runway End Safety Area’ has also been added towards the end of the airport’s second runway. The entire network of 11 taxiways will be operational by 2013.
