Munich airport wants AirAsia flights

Munich Airport, Germany’s second largest hub, is interested in becoming AirAsia X’s third European destination. In an interview with Malaysian news agency, Bernama, the Chairman of Munich airport’s operator, Michael Kerkloh, said he wanted AirAsia X to launch direct flights to and from Kuala Lumpur as part of a bid to strengthen its Asian links.
“Yes, we are interested to get AirAsia X to fly to Munich airport,” Kerkloh told Bernama. “In the years to come, Asia will be more dynamic than Europe
