NasJet looks to expand presence

NasJet is gearing up to showcase its product line at the forthcoming World Travel Market (WTM) in London.
Saad Al Azwar, CEO of NasJet, said: “The number of private jet movements across the world is steadily growing as travellers begin to appreciate benefits of private travel. Our participation will give us an opportunity to showcase our range of products.”
The airline manages and supports 67 aircraft with an insured value in excess of US$ two billion. core fleet is comprised of Airbus, BBJ, Gulfstream and Hawker aircraft. The airline’s own fleet of jets include the largest fleet of Gulfstream aircraft in the Middle East.
According to Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA), the regional business aviation sector will be worth an estimated US$ 1.3 bn by the year 2020, while total business jet fleet size in the Middle East is projected to grow from the current number of 551 to 1375 aircraft over the same period.”
MEBAA also states that out of the total number of registered business aircraft in the entire MENA region almost half are registered in Saudi Arabia, which is considered to be the most promising market in the GCC with an annual growth rate of seven percent.
