New ATC opens in Mumbai

The new Air Traffic Control (ATC) at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai is now operational.
The swanky new ATC was inaugurated by Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Ajit Singh and Chief Minister of Maharashtra Prithviraj Chavan last week.
Prithviraj Chavan, Chief Minister of Maharashtra said, “The new ATC Tower is a beautiful architecture; it being the tallest ATC tower in India makes this occasion more special for us. The civil aviation business is about efficiency and it is about bringing the best of technology & trained manpower together.”
