A new high-rise walkway is soon to be opened at Toronto’s CN Tower. The hands-free EdgeWalk encircles the tower at 356 metres (1,168ft) on just a 1.5 metre wide ledge. Visitors will walk on the ledge in groups of six to eight for 20 to 30 minutes and have the chance to lean back over the city. “We think it’s fitting that Toronto’s newest attraction in 18 years should be at the city’s most defining landmark,” said Mark Laroche, president and CEO of Canada Lands Company, which owns and operates the CN Tower. “EdgeWalk is both thrilling and unique and will push visitors to their limits – literally and figuratively.”
