New business traveller visa for M’sia

It is important, therefore, to facilitate their entry into the country,” he said.

 

Abdullah Badawi also announced improvements to the multiple entry visas for Indian and Chinese nationals. Currently,such visas can only be applied in the country of origin He said from January 2008, Indian and Chinese nationals can apply for MEVs in the country where they are residing or working. “Initially, this facility will be made available in international financial centres, such as New York, London, Hong Kong and Singapore,” he said.
