Jakarta is constructing a new city park. Located along the toll road to Soekarno-Hatta airport in the north of the Indonesian capital, the new 13.6-hectare green space is scheduled to be open by the end of the year. The Jakarta Post reported city officials as saying that the park would cost an estimated IDR1.3 billion (US$151,000) to develop, and will include walking, cycling and jogging tracks, as well as a fishpond.
