A gallery will be constructed in West Java showcasing traditional palaces located across Indonesia. The Jakarta Post reported that a 200-hectare site in Karawang regency, near Jakarta, will feature model replicas of the palaces. The proposal follows consultations between the government and local sultans as to how best preserve and showcase the culture of Indonesia’s various regions.
