A new location-based digital marketing platform for the tourism industry launched this week.
First unveiled at ITB, WhereIsWhere.com allows the travel industry to upload all forms of content via a clickable world map. Designed for tourism boards, hotels, attractions, shopping malls and F&B outlets, WhereIsWhere.com, is currently in the process of gathering content ahead of its official launch to the public in mid-2016.
The aim is to create an interactive map with global travel-related content, which can be linked back to the provider’s website.
“Today in travel, we do not have a consolidated platform that represents, showcases and markets the entire industry in a way that travellers can easily understand. We believe our new platform will transform how the industry engages travellers,” explained Terence Mak, CEO of WhereIsWhere.com.
The company also stressed that there are no fees or commissions involved, and registration for travel industry companies is free from now until June 2016.
