New hotel planned for Sydney Airport

Realtor Rydges and the Denwol Group have tabled plans to construct a new four-star hotel at Sydney Airport International Terminal. The property will offer 317 rooms, a restaurant and hotel bar, geared towards business travellers and holidaymakers. The AU$68 million (US$69.6 million) project will begin construction shortly and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2012. The project has receive support from Sydney Airport and Tourism Australia, as it will enhance product offerings in the city and take the country closer to its overnight visitor expenditure targets.
