VisitBlackpool has teamed with the Leisure Pass Group to introduce a new credit card-style Blackpool Resort Pass, giving visitors quicker and more convenient access to six featured attractions in the seaside resort.
Using the Leisure Pass Operating System (LPOS Live Platform), which powers the successful London Pass, the new Blackpool Resort Pass enables tourists to gain faster admission to attractions with a simple barcode scan. In previous years, pass holders needed to carry a wallet with individual paper tickets.
Priced at £55 per person, the Blackpool Resort Pass entitles customers to one visit over a seven-day period to each of the following:
Blackpool Pleasure Beach (including a wristband to enjoy the rides)
Nickelodeon Land
The Blackpool Tower Eye & 4D Experience
The Blackpool Tower Dungeon
SEA LIFE Blackpool
Madame Tussauds Blackpool
Customers can also upgrade to the Blackpool Resort Pass Plus (£80 per person), which adds Blackpool Zoo, Sandcastle Waterpark and Blackpool Model Village & Gardens to the attractions available.
The introduction of the fully-automated LPOS Live Platform represents an upgrade in the operation and management of the Blackpool Resort Pass for VisitBlackpool, reducing admissions paperwork for featured attractions and providing valuable tracking information on consumer choices.
Easy to use, the system provides quick, cashless transactions at each featured attraction via card-readers which dial-in automatically to LPOS Live Platform.
LPOS Live Platform is a purpose-built management system developed by the Leisure Pass Group, the world’s biggest city sightseeing pass specialist. It is already used to administer the Vienna PASS, Stockholm Card, Copenhagen Card, Prague Card, Lyon City Card, Gothenburg City Card, Antwerp City Card, Helsinki Card, Singapore Tourist Pass Plus, New York Pass and Philadelphia Pass, as well as the Leisure Pass Group’s own London Pass, Paris Pass, Berlin Pass and Dublin Pass.
