The results of a AU$2.5 million (US$1.9m) revamp of the ibis budget Sydney East hotel have been unveiled, with a new look for the property’s rooms and communal areas.
All 115 rooms feature new flooring, black-out blinds, 42-inch TVs and rain showers. Some rooms offer views of Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, and the king, twin and family rooms can accommodate up to four people.
The economy hotel’s cafe has now been updated, and guests are now offered a new all-you-can-eat breakfast with freshly brewed coffee.
“This refurbishment lifts the perceived standard of economy accommodation, improving not only the look and feel of the rooms, but also the comfort level, allowing our guests to relax and unwind in between exploring the city,” said Ajith Ratwatte, GM of the ibis budget Sydney East.
ibis budget Sydney East is one of 20 hotels in the ibis budget network in Australia.
