An award show dedicated to the ski and swowboard market is to recognise companies and individuals in the field later this year.
The World Snow Awards will take place for the first time on 2 November as part of the annual Ski and Snowboard Show at London’s Earls Court.
Olympic skiers Martin and Graham Bell will head up the judging panel alongside Sky Sunday presenter Ed Leigh and former chief executive of the Ski Club of Great Britain Caroline Stuart-Taylor. There will be 25 categories covering specialist and mainstream tour operators; top European and North American resorts and brands.
“The ski and snowboard world is one of the most vibrant and innovative sectors of the travel industry, the World Snow Awards will help highlight those who go that extra mile and lead the way for the rest of us,” said Nick Miller, chairman of VOS Media, the company behind the show and Daily Mail Ski And Snowboard magazine, of which he is a publisher.
