Travel agents will now be able to access five further training modules with ACE in addition to the five launched earlier this month. The new modules include sections covering onboard and destination experiences, as well as room selection and tips on where to cruise during parts of the year. “The new e-learning modules are designed to give agents a real understanding of some of the key elements that make up a cruise holiday,” said Andy Harmer, ACE director. “As an example, for someone new to cruise the choice of a room onboard can be quite daunting when there may be up to 37 to choose from. All the modules are created to interact with agents in an informative and accessible manner”.
ACE has also released further details of its first ever Expedition Expo to be held in London on 18 September. The expo also provides the agents with an opportunity to visit Hapag-Lloyd’s 184-guest expedition ship the Hanseatic moored on the River Thames on that day. The expo will include cruise companies representatives and regional experts.
