A new wellness resort is scheduled to open its doors in the region of Mulshi, near Pune, in March 2016.
Located three hours’ drive from Mumbai, the Atmantan Wellness Resort will feature a total of 106 rooms once it fully opens, offering guests a selection of all-inclusive packages. The first phase one of the resort will feature 73 rooms and villas.
The vision of former Ironman triathlete, Nikhil Kapur, and his wife, Sharmilee Kapur, Atmantan promises a holistic approach to wellness, comprising “physical, emotional, spiritual and social” elements.
Set in the Sahyadri Mountains and overlooking Mulshi Lake, Atmantan is spread over 16 hectares of land and will feature 80 garden-facing rooms (up to 38m²), 24 lake- and mountain-facing rooms (up to 60m²), a one-bedroom villa (139m²), and a two-bedroom villa (232m²). Each of the villas features a private pool, gym, spa room, sauna and steam facilities, and butler service.
The resort’s Wellness Pavilion covers more than 4,600m² and includes a spa with 23 treatment rooms, a fitness and physiotherapy wing, an indoor saltwater pool, a beauty salon and retail outlet.
There is also a separate Dining Pavilion that houses three restaurants, all of which serve healthy food that is tailored to the guests’ individual dietary requirements.
