Newmarket Holidays will introduce its new ‘Four-star Superior’-rated river cruiser Sound of Music in 2017.
Built in 2006, the ship will offer a selection of voyages across the season, during which she will be sighted everywhere from Amsterdam to Kalosca in southern Hungary.
Sound of Music is a little larger then her Newmarket Holidays fleet-mate Olympia, providing accommodation for 122 passengers.
The ship’s spacious cabins, some with ‘French balconies’, are complemented by a large, airy forward lounge, aft restaurant and split-level sun deck.
Additional touches include complimentary Wi-Fi, an ice-maker and coffee-station, as well as complimentary table water at mealtimes.
The new ship will operate a programme of six new cruises in 2017, including the Dutch waterways and Rhine, Moselle and Danube itineraries.
Newmarket is offering a ‘Free All-inclusive Drinks Package’ on bookings made on 2017 river cruises departing between April and October 2017.
