Nextant Aerospace, the world’s only remanufactured business jet will showcase its aircraft at the 13th biennial Dubai Airshow. The company will have a static display showcasing the 400XTi aircraft, the GE H80 engine that will power the Nextant G90XT turboprop and its Spectrum Aeromed air ambulance equipment.
Also on display will be a model of the new GE H80 turboprop engine. In a strategic collaboration announced at the NBAA, GE will supply new engines for Nextant’s forthcoming range of remanufactured aircraft. Launch project is the Nextant G90XT, based on the King Air C90 series and featuring GE H80 engines. Like the 400XTi, the G90XT will transform concepts of value in its sector with significantly improved performance and lower costs at just half the purchase-price.
“With continuous growth in trade and GDP, Middle Eastern governments and business leaders are looking for more time-efficient and cost-effective travel options,” says Nextant president Sean McGeough. “The region also offers particularly strong prospects for special missions applications including air ambulance, freight, training, surveillance, high-density seating and cloud seeding. “
Deliveries of the new model are less than a year away and with a global pool of potentially 1,500 suitable airframes the company anticipates a busy production run.
