NH Collection has opened its new flagship hotel in the Spanish capital of Madrid.
The new hotel has opened after three months of refurbishment in a multi-million pound investment to maintain the Eurobuilding.
It has 431 rooms, four of which are ‘Living Lab’ rooms where customers can test the latest hotel technology including wireless mobile phone charging and video support via tablets.
Employees and those associated with the brand will be able to put forward ideas that can be tested in the rooms, as well as some communal areas.
Food and drink spaces in the hotel include David Muñoz’s DiverXO, the only restaurant in Madrid with three Michelin stars, as well as a collaboration between two-Michelin star chef Paco Roncero and mixologist Diego Cabrera at DOMO by Roncero & Cabrera. There is also a DOMO Lounge & Terrace by Cabrera and the 99 Sushi Bar.
In its public spaces a LED vault screen is located in the hotel’s lobby that will project artwork and sounds into the area.
